Craft Classes August 2014

2 Hour Quilt Top
Wednesday 13th August 2014 7pm - 9pm $15
Have you got a Jelly Roll you want to use up or maybe you have some fabrics you'd love to cut into 2 1/2" strips? This wonderful quilt can easily be sewn in 2 hours. If you want to make a larger quilt then it will take longer but can be sewn in sections. My sample is 2m x 1.45m. I also have options for adding extra fabric squares or triangles at the joins to make an interesting pattern throughout the quilts.My quilt used 34 fabric strips and I repeated 17 fabrics twice.

Split Circles Wall Hangings
Wednesday 20th August 7pm - 9pm $15
Dianne will teach you a very easy method to set in sew circles in fabric. This method really is so quick and easy to make a sewn in circle that you will be amazed. Then we cut the circle in half and add a sashing strip. Various pattern layouts available. Check out Dianne's 2 samples below. Want to make a bigger quilt - easy , make more blocks.

Vinyl Mesh Bag
Tuesday 26th August 6:30pm - 9:30pm $25 + $15 pattern fee
Dianne has already run this class once and the ladies had fun creating their own versions of this bag. Come along and create one for yourself. A large variety of colours available in the vinyl mesh. It is so easy to sew. Team the vinyl mesh with some of the fabulous fabrics we have in store and see what you can make.
